Congratulations Piper Way Team!
We are thrilled to announce that our Piper Way lease-up team has successfully leased the property in record time! This remarkable achievement was made possible through the dedication, hard work, and collaboration of our internal and external partners, who worked seamlessly to ensure everything was completed efficiently and effectively.
Robin Birmingham and Willie Smith received the building on April 25th and ensured 59 households leased their homes by April 30th!!! You were the stars of the lease-up and would not have happened without your extraordinary efforts!
Thank you to the dedicated teams at CCH (Christian Church Homes), Far Northern Regional Center, Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency, and City of Redding Housing Authority in housing some of our most vulnerable senior population where they now have a place to call home. The vision and partnership of this new senior independent living community started almost two decades ago with the First Christian Church of Redding (Disciples of Christ) and CCH to help address the rising need for affordable housing.

The project was made possible with funding from the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee, California Department of Housing & Community Development, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, City of Redding Housing Authority, Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, U.S. Bank, and land donated from the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

This milestone not only reflects the exceptional skills and perseverance but also our collective ability to overcome challenges and deliver outstanding results ensuring our vision to transform communities.
