CCH takes positions on ballot measures only when they have a significant impact on affordable housing, older adults, and the communities we serve. For the November 2026 California ballot, CCH supports Proposition 1 because it invests in affordable housing and preservation and opposes Propositions 39 and 43 because they could create barriers to civic participation and make it harder for communities to fund housing and essential services. These recommendations are grounded in our mission to create affordable housing and support thriving communities for older adults and families.
