Announcing New President & CEO

 

Cynthia joined CCH as Chief Operating Officer in 2023, overseeing six departmental directors and over 200 staff members across six states. During her tenure, and in collaboration with her team, she implemented transformative changes within the organization, including recruiting key leadership, developing a five-year financial forecasting model, negotiating regulatory improvements, and significantly boosting revenue. She then stepped into the role of interim CEO. She was then elevated to President & CEO in the Fall of 2024.

As CEO, we are confident Cynthia will further enhance CCH’s six decades of legacy developing and providing quality affordable housing and fostering vibrant senior communities. As we move forward under Cynthia’s leadership, CCH will continue growing its footprint developing new quality affordable housing in caring communities.

Cynthia’s career spans over two decades in leadership positions across housing and real estate organizations. Before joining CCH, she served as Deputy Director of Portfolio at the Chinatown Community Development Center, where she led multimillion-dollar portfolio reinvestment programs, negotiated substantial public funding increases, and introduced innovative leasing processes. Her previous roles also included Deputy Executive Director for the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda and Chief Portfolio Officer at Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation, where she managed a $65 million annual budget and oversaw a portfolio of 40 properties.

Cynthia’s educational background reflects her commitment to excellence. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, graduating Cum Laude from the University of California, San Diego, and was a full scholarship recipient in Stanford University’s PhD Program in Political Science.
