Dear Friends:
It is hard to believe another year is swiftly coming to a close. We began 2021 with a ray of optimism as COVID-19 vaccines were on the horizon and we had hoped to have the pandemic soon in the rear view mirror. Following more than a year and a half of social distancing, changing mask requirements and vaccine roll outs, many circumstances have changed for the better. The economy is starting to rebound, children have returned to school and many workers are back in the office with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
CCH has much for which to be grateful. We’re celebrating 60 years in existence, new real estate projects on the horizon, and the grand re-opening of our beautified and rehabbed Westlake Christian Terrace West. We are thankful to all our supporters, partners and friends for standing with us. We remain cautiously optimistic for the return to a more normalized state of existence.
As the holiday season approaches, we wish each of you much joy and happiness. Research suggests happiness is a key component to success both on the job and in your personal life. Putting aside negative thoughts and concentrating on the positive has been found to actually increase life expectancy by 7.5 years. You may find a bit of happiness is actually good for the soul.
