Burbank Orchards and Burbank Heights, CCH-managed communities have been given a $50,000 grant from the Bethlehem Foundation, a local nonprofit organization, to upgrade emergency pull cords. The Bethlehem Foundation was created to support and enhance the quality of life for senior adults residing in Sonoma County, California.
Upgrades completed over the next two years will include the installation of new computerized equipment and the hiring of a third-party monitoring service to augment support provided by current staff.
Community Board President Paul L. Schoch stated, “The Board of Directors of Burbank Heights and Burbank Orchards, upon hearing of the grant from the Bethlehem Foundation to renew the emergency cord system for both communities, were extremely appreciative and wish to thank them for the Foundation’s action in improving the safety of our residents”
